Julius L. Cartwright Celebrated In New York’s Times Square
A former president of the National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB), Cartwright led the launch of the State of Housing in Black America (SHIBA) report and helped secure $1.2 billion for the Homeowners Assurance Program to address the foreclosure crisis. He is also the author of Equity Smart Is The New Cool, a practical guide for financial empowerment aimed at Gen Z and millennials, and continues to promote financial inclusion nationwide through The Equity Movement Enterprises via education, events, and mentorship.
Beyond real estate and advocacy, Cartwright founded two nonprofit organizations, S.T.A.F.F. (Student Then Athletes Foundation) and GroundWorks Analytics, focused on youth development and community data empowerment. He also leads Apex Multifaceted Publishing and Career Channels Magazine, platforms designed to celebrate career pathways, highlight industry leaders, and inspire future professionals through real-world stories and educational resources.
Through Apex Multifaceted Inc. and its broader ecosystem, Cartwright has championed a research-driven, student-centered approach to education and career readiness. His initiatives also introduced hands-on career modules, entrepreneurship labs, and ROI-based college planning, contributing to increased student participation in career-readiness activities and stronger confidence in post-graduation planning.
His leadership has gained recognition through the growing demand for his initiatives and the partnerships built across schools, churches, community organizations, and industry groups. Cartwright and his teams are regularly invited to host financial literacy and career-readiness workshops, while their consortium model continues to expand through high school summits and collaborations with trade schools and industry associations. Career Channels Magazine has also evolved into a platform featuring stories from students and partner organizations, further strengthening its role as a community resource.
